Streetlighting was broken in Thornliebank, creating a bother to local residents.

I intervened with East Renfrewshire Council on this issue to ensure that the residents were able to use the road again during the dark, especially as we were moving into the long and dark winter months, as the broken streetlighting made the road inaccessible affecting the safety and comfort of the residents.

I am happy to say that this problem has now been rectified and streetlighting is functioning again.
