On Small Business Saturday, I was out and about across the constituency for Small Business Saturday – a day to celebrate the 5.45 million small businesses across the UK and encourage people to shop small and local.
I visited a number of fantastic businesses across the constituency. From local institutions like the Newlands Home Baker, Thomson Bros Butchers and Alan Beveridge Fishmongers (where I used to work!), fab places to eat out like Wheataly, Thomson’s Coffee, Valentini’s and Grain and Grind, exciting Studio Two Six One, stylish Basus Home and Rich Bakes by Louise and BeeHype Honey at the Newton Mearns Market.
Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy – use them or lose them folks!
