Residents and local anglers informed me of Scottish Water's plan to drain the local Long Loch, which would result in the loss of a beautiful local landmark, and the demise of an active angling club.

My office have been intervening with Scottish Water to try and halt this plan. So far, the loch is not going to be fully drained, but the water level will still be lowered.

We'll keep at it.
