After a horrific act of vandalism, which damaged facilities which school-children relied on and exposed them to anti-Catholic sentiments, I immediately raised concerns with the Council, the Police, and the Education Department and requested that prompt action take place. In an joint show of unity, I visited the school with Eastwood MSP Jackson Carlaw and First Minister John Swinney to demonstrate that such actions are not acceptable in East Renfrewshire.
